Welcome to Live AuthenticAly, a lifestyle blog, an open journal, a community I have yearned to create. A place where we can all strive to live our lives as authenticaly, inspired, and creatively as possible.

From growing up loving to write, to studying journalism at USC, I’ve written almost every day for as long as I can remember. I have thousands of pages and have dreamed of starting a site of my own. I've even experimented with the idea, but nothing ever stuck. I never shared those pages with anyone. You see, to me, writing is deeply personal. With every word comes a piece of myself...

The past year and a half has been a massive growing experience for me. I knew that if I wanted to achieve the goals I’d envisioned for myself I needed to continue to push and expand in new ways. I started by opening myself up to one of my 2018 resolutions: giving myself permission to make mistakes (something that terrified me)! From there, I challenged myself to do one thing every month that scared me or just pushed me out of my comfort zone. Through these experiences, I have explored the different areas of my own mind, and opened myself up to not letting the fear of falling flat on my face stop me. Mistakes are essential to our existence. They are necessary for growth.

So, it’s time for me to lose sight of the shore, and I hope you will take the journey with me. A journey of authentic creativity. Part of the beauty? I’m still figuring out exactly what that means. Just like me, this site is a work in progress. It will grow, change, and evolve. There will be missteps and (I hope) moments of beautiful clarity.

To me, authenticity is staying true to the realest version of yourself. It is the happiness, the tears, the failure, and the success. It is friendship, self love and expression, listening to yourself, and continually striving to live the life truest to who you really are. Not who society, your friends, your family, or even who you THINK you should be. It’s taking the time to get to know the person you are behind all the walls and armor that have built up over the years.

Right now, you’ll find a couple article samples in each category that I will continue adding on to. The Explore section will focus on my travels and continuing to explore my own home, Los Angeles. Lifestyle will be filled with interior design, style, and just general life advice / tips + tricks. Lastly, ArtisticAly will shed light on what it is like being an artist pursuing life as an actress in LA. This is a creative outlet. It will change, it will adjust, but I hope this can be an authentic space for all of us that encourages living life to the fullest.
